A Message From Brindi Brittain

My name is Brindi Brittain. I have participated in Special Olympics for 8 years and have jumped in the Jackalope Jump every year it has been held here in Cody. I love all things sports but my favorite is basketball. I play both Special Olympic basketball and high school basketball for the Cody Fillies. I also participate in Special Olympic bowling and swimming. You can almost always find me watching my favorite sports teams compete. Right now I am really excited that the LA Rams are headed to the Superbowl and that Steph Curry is finally uninjured. Aside from sports I love music, movies, and being around people. My goal this year is to raise enough money to earn a Special Olympics jacket while helping our Cody team. Please consider donating to my jump. I promise I will freeze in style.

Special Olympics is founded on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction & encouragement, learn, enjoy & benefit from participation in individual & team sports, adapted as necessary to meet the needs of those with intellectual & physical limitations. Special Olympics believes that consistent training is indispensable to the development of an individual’s sports skills. In addition, competition among those of equal abilities is the most appropriate means of testing these skills, measuring progress, and providing incentives for personal growth.
