A Message From Natrona County Sheriff's Office

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to the safety of our community and making Natrona County a great place to live, work and visit. This fundraising effort will help our very own local Special Olympics Athletes compete at no cost to their families. Our designated Jumper, Investigator Joe Wistisen, has worked with our Special Olympics Athletes for many years and this fundraiser is especially close to his heart. We love to see our community members thriving and this is just another way to show support to our local athletes!

In Support of Special Olympics Wyoming
Special Olympics is founded on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction & encouragement, learn, enjoy & benefit from participation in individual & team sports, adapted as necessary to meet the needs of those with intellectual & physical limitations. Special Olympics believes that consistent training is indispensable to the development of an individual’s sports skills. In addition, competition among those of equal abilities is the most appropriate means of testing these skills, measuring progress, and providing incentives for personal growth.
